Central Teacher Eligibility Test
What is CTET?
Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national-level exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers in Classes 1-8. There are two CTET papers in the exam, that is, Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates who plan to teach Classes 1-5 need to give Paper-I and candidates who plan to teach Classes 6-8 need to take Paper-II. Candidates who plan to teach Classes 1-8 need to take both the papers. CTET admit card 2021 has been released on January 13. The CTET 2020-21 exam will be conducted on January 31, 2021.
केंद्रीय शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा (CTET) एक राष्ट्रीय स्तर की परीक्षा है, जो केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (CBSE) द्वारा कक्षा 1-8 में शिक्षकों की नियुक्ति के लिए उम्मीदवारों की पात्रता निर्धारित करने के लिए वर्ष में दो बार आयोजित की जाती है। परीक्षा में दो CTET पेपर होते हैं, यानी पेपर- I और पेपर- II। जिन उम्मीदवारों की कक्षा 1-5 पढ़ाने की योजना है उन्हें पेपर- I देने की आवश्यकता है और जो उम्मीदवार 6-8 कक्षा को पढ़ाने की योजना बना रहे हैं उन्हें पेपर- II लेने की आवश्यकता है। उम्मीदवार जो कक्षा 1-8 पढ़ाने की योजना बनाते हैं, उन्हें दोनों पेपर लेने की आवश्यकता है।

Candidates should pass 10+2 with minimum 45 per cent aggregate marks in order to be qualified for appointment as a primary stage teacher
Candidates should clear graduation with minimum 45 per cent aggregate marks or 10+2 with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks in order to be qualified for appointment as an elementary stage teacher
Candidates should complete the prescribed teacher training programmes/teacher education courses
